I’ve just finished the first script to something very wonderful. I’m really excited!! (This is related to “the BEST and FUNNET thing I’ve ever written” that I mentioned in an earlier post).
Creatively, I’ve been the best lately than I have ever been before. I’m writing every day. I write at least four hours a day, which is pretty insane for me. I’m very focused right now and I’m running with it. I’m also surprisingly happy with what I’ve been writing lately (which will probably change when I get into one of my awkward self-loathing funks, but hey, running with it).
I watched Whisper of the Heart for the first time yesterday, which I really loved. I think I might watch it again this week.
I really want to get more comic work on the site, and I know the few of you who check back on this site are disappointed by the lack of new content, but I hope to change that soon. I really appreciate the e-mails! Thanks for sending your friends over, too!
Captain Britain and the MI:13 is amazing. It has Dracula teaming up with Doctor Doom. On. The. Moon. !!!.
I have (see: have had for a while but never use it) a twitter account. We can be friends again! www.twitter.com/ronalddario
I’m thinking about posting short stories here. I might just make a subsection on this page for it. The short stories are stupid and usually have nonsensical (also non-at-all) endings. I hope you’ll like them!
There’s also the whole comics thing, which I promise I’m working on. LIES!
Hearts.
This week has kicked my ass. I slept a million hours last night and I’m still tired as heck.
On the plus side, I’ve been writing a lot more.
Moving on: I read all those Nana volumes!! I’m now free to hunker down and get through that daunting stack of Savage Dragon trades. Wish me all the luck.
Real news and talk next week.
I’m making a conscious effort to post regularly, which will work for like a month or two and then I’ll start to slack off again.
What I’m up to: I’m in the middle of writing the best and funnest thing that I’ve ever written. It’s going to be historical.
What I’m reading: I just finished Powers Volume 12 and have set my sights on the six volumes of Nana that I’ve let pile up. (Breaking news: I was going through the boxes of manga that I haven’t unpacked yet to find said Nana’s and happened upon the horrible realization that Yotsuba&! hasn’t had a new volume in a hella long time. What the heck, guys?)
Also: “I’ve turned the comments back on. So feel free to comment away,” he said before the crushing reality that no one will ever comment set in.
I really, really think that you should be reading Plastic.

It’s a really fun comic by the really awesome Skullbie. You definitely want to bookmark it (it goes between Perry Bible Fellowship and Questionable Content in my methodically organized webcomics bookmarks folder.)
