Inside Man

What's up with masculinity? Conventional views of masculinity, adopted by men and other genders alike, have been leaving our boys isolated, lonely and emotionally repressed. This has negative repercussions for every member of our society, and the consequences have been increasingly coming to light.

Inside Man is a comedy show that will delve into our current conceptions of masculinity. A stellar cast of six improvisers will discuss what it means to be a man, and these discussions will inspire improvised scenes. The show will use the Living Room format with the kind permission of the incomparable John Gebretatose on behalf of the truly stellar Blackout Improv!

Come join us, let's talk about men.

Featuring: Ese Atawo, Christine Bortolin, Ronald Dario, Patrick Dodd, Kelli Ogmundson, Sean Heaslip

TORONTO - Focus Group: At The Movies

Alright, as the tens of you who have attended the show know, normally at Focus Group we watch odd videos I find on YouTube then do improv based off them.

NOT THIS TIME!

BUT WHAT? This month we will be watching the first 5 minutes of a forgotten movie (selected by best pal/comedian Brent Constantine) that none of us have ever seen, then pausing it and improvising the rest.

BUT WHO? My fav pals from Vancouver, Little Mountain Improv! Plus special guests AJ Vaage, Bita Joudaki and Liz Johnston!

BUT WHERE? Bad Dog Theatre Company!

BUT WHEN? Monday August 12th at 930 PM!

BUT HOW? Pay a small amount of money online or at the door!

BUT WHY? Because we have all been doing this for too long and there is no point in stopping now!

See you then, bye!
